Breed specialist Nan Chadwick had an entry of 19 dogs and 25 bitches to go over, with the top placings almost being a duplicate of Three Counties earlier in the year. Best of Breed was the Bitch CC winner, Jackie Phillips’ CH MARCHDENS LOOK TO THE SKY FOR BLAKENS.

The Dog CC went to Ruth Gee’s WATERCROFT CALLING TIME, (Ch Strathinver Sea The Stars out of Watercroft Top Tipple), his fourth of the year. Last year’s Top Dog, Denise Horne’s CH MARCHDENS MARK MY WORDS (Moortop Delivery x Lady Miss Cheif) took the RDCC (this being the only difference to Three Counties where Jill Stevenson’s Ch Brickin Pot of Pickle was the RDCC).

Jackie Phillip’s CH MARCHDENS LOOK TO THE SKY FOR BLAKENS (Ch Blakens Pay Back x Pie In The Sky) followed on from her success at WKC and Belleville Ovation (Allright Highland Moon x Belleville Constellation) had to settle for her sixth RCC of the year – keep trying Cathy, it is bound to come!

Best Puppy was Martin Phillips’ newcomer, seven month old TELL A TALE TO JAEVA. He is sired by Nanstop Bulgari out of Jaeva Charming Tale, bred by Kate Tate.

They also have a Best Junior competition at this show, and Diane Jenkins’ KINSRIDGE CHITCHAT took that spot.

Sadly, no Group placings to report.
