BEST of BREED: CH MARCHDENS MARK WORDS

BP: BRICKIN JUST A PICKLE
Having recently announced his retirement, this was the last judging appointment for Breed Specialist David Saltmarsh.
There was an element of déjà vu, with some of the recent top winners again jockeying for ‘a podium finish’.
The Dog CC and Best of Breed went to Denise Horne’s CH MARCHDENS MARK MY WORDS, handled as usual by Jackie Phillips. Jill Stevenson’s CH BRICKIN POT OF PICKLE swapped places, this time taking the RDCC.
The Bitches were a repeat of the top placings at the Club’s Spring Open Show back in April, with the CC going to Ruth Gee’s WATERCROFT GOLD DUST (Ch Kinsridge Cash Back out of Ch Watercroft Top Tia) and the RBCC going to Cathy Thompson-Morgan’s BELLEVILLE OVATION (Allright Highland Moon – Belleville Constellation).
There is no stopping Jill Stevenson’s young dog BRICKIN JUST A PICKLE at the moment as he secured his third BP in a row (National Terrier and WELKS already in the bag). He is having a cracking start to the year, so his dad, Ch Brickin Pot Of Pickle had better watch out! His dam is Brickin Simplicity.
