We need someone to take over responsibility for managing the club stand

 

You would have to be prepared to go to all the club’s shows, to Crufts on terrier day, to the annual fun day and the annual lecture (and other club events as appropriate).

 

It would be up to you to source and order new stock, keep accurate records and liaise with the club’s treasurer and committee on a  regular basis. You will need somewhere safe and secure to store the merchandise and be able to transport it to the different venues.

 

There is also a thriving mail order side to the stand, so it would be extremely useful if you have a computer available to you, as many of the mail orders come in by email. It would also be convenient to you if you have access to ‘over the counter’ postal services, as parcel sizes will be varied in shape, weight and value!

 

The stand manager receive a small honorarium, which is agreed at the annual general meeting each year.
