JUDGE: RUTH GEE

Blackpool can apparently be a tricky venue to get to in terms of traffic, but with the judging being on the Sunday I hope the travel was a little easier than it has been in some years. Straight to the results of the judging: no Watercroft dogs on the winners list this time, because Ruth Gee was the judge on this occasion. There were no CCs on offer, but Ruth had a very reasonable entry of 20 dogs. Unfortunately there were a few absentees on the day so she only had 11 to actually go over.

She chose Andrea Smith’s JAVIDEL DESPICABLE MAY (Ch Watercroft Chilli Pepper x Ch Javidel Defintely Maybe) as her Best Dog and Best of Breed. He has already been in the top placings once this year, picking up Res Best Dog at Boston back in January. The Res Best Dog, Best Puppy and Best Junior went to to Di Jenkins’ nine month old youngster KINSRIDGE CULTURE CLUB (Yarrow Venerie Christmas Cracknor x Kinsridge Club Classic), who was Best Puppy In Show at the Club Spring Show in April.

In the Bitch classes, Di came out on top with her two year old KINSRIDGE CHITCHAT (Ch Kinsridge Back Chat x Kinsridge Shabby Chic) and the Res Best Bitch went to UMBRAGE UP ALL NIGHT, home bred by Andre Hess and John Higgins (Blakens Payback x Umbrage The Jubilant).
