Discover Dogs Earls Court November 2004
There were many stars at this years Discover Dogs but the brightest of them were surely Muffin and John Mackison who manned the booth on their own for the whole of the busy Sunday afternoon session. It was due to circumstances with the traffic that they were alone but I cannot think of anyone, and his dog, more able to cope, and not let it become a crisis, than John, our gallant Club Secretary.
Grateful thanks also go to Gilean White with Crunchy, Sue and Michael Pearson, of Teddy Bear Shop fame, with Hamish and Teddy, Valerie and Paul Montgomery with Monty and Bertie, Carole and Lynn Goldsmith with Posy and Paddy, and on Sunday morning Cherry Stones with Kizzy, 9 years, and Anne Blackman with Polly, and Badger, 13 years.
My own Kevin, now nearly 10, was frequently asked the question Is he fully grown? so congratulations to these youthful senior citizens for retaining their puppyish looks and never flagging.
Valerie took Monty into the Terrier Parade and gave a splendid display in spite of never having been in the ring before.
Well done to everyone!
Discover Dogs Earls Court next year will on November 12th and 13th 2005.
Discover Dogs at Crufts 2005
March 10-13th 2005 at the NEC Birmingham.
Terrier Day is March 10th.
The Dorkins Family will be organising the Norfolk Terrier Booth at Discover Dogs at Crufts next year and we would like people who are interested in helping to get in touch. Show people, breeders or pet people, with a dog or without.
We will be trying something new to decorate part of the booth. We are planning to make a montage of members dogs (past and present). So send us a photo or photos of your dogs doing what Norfolks like best - like running, sleeping, digging, swimming, watching tv, playing, chewing, hunting or just being a really good show dog!! So come on let your dog go to Crufts in a photo!!

Please get in touch and send photos to:

Do send in your photographs to Dorothy for the new Crufts display, it sounds really good. The pictures here show the setting up scenes at Earls Court - from the blank space to the almost finished booth to the day of the show. The Norwich Terrier Club is always along side us and they invariably seem wonderfully well organised and never puzzled about what to do next!
