Tributes to Elisabeth Matell

We said our last goodbyes to Elisabeth Matell
at the Service of Celebration for her life
on Thursday 22nd November at Cheltenham Cemetery & Crematorium.

The Revd Mike Rogers, the vicar from Berrow, took the service.

Lynn Ward held her Norfolk, Poppy, in her arms when she read
the words from Isaiah chapter 11: verses 1 to 9, and spoke about Elisabeth.
There were at least three other Norfolks present in the chapel.

Further moving tributes followed from Kenneth Eliasson and Andrew Brace.

Current Health Projects

The Health Snapshot

The Health Snapshot is a scheme where owners and breeders of Norfolk Terriers in the UK are invited to report notable conditions diagnosed in their dogs to the Club.

This information is useful for finding out if certain conditions are becoming more frequent than one would expect in the Norfolk Terrier and dogs in general.

The Norfolk Terrier Club of Great Britain

The Health of the Norfolk Terrier: an Interim Statement

  • The Norfolk Terrier is one of the smallest terriers, with a hardy constitution. A “demon” for its size, it is not quarrelsome and has a lovable disposition.
  • The Norfolk Terrier is not known for exaggerated physical features of any kind.
  • The Norfolk Terrier has no known breed-specific health problems and, therefore, no breed-specific health tests or schemes administered by the Kennel Club.
